At lunch one day recently, a friend told me she had seen "This Is It" over the weekend. This is what? I wondered. Her effusive description of Michael Jackson's rehearsal movie found my daughter, husband, and me glued to our theater seats, a couple days later. We couldn't believe our good fortune to see this incredible work of art on the big screen. So much love, skill, and knowing permeate every frame. Go see it if you can.
On our way to dinner after the movie, this mobile caught my eye in a shop window. I love sparkle, mirrors, and glass, and I just had to have this little trinket (MJ's influence). On Tuesday, in a moment of indecision, trying to center myself, I grabbed the mobile hanging from a light in my bedroom and hung it in the living room window, for pictures. Go figure how they ended up here– this wasn't part of the day's plan. Hope you like it.
