The appropriateness of this quote startled me, because when I took this picture all I cared about were the red grape leaves. However their tumble into yellow and green was what the universe had in mind.
I know autumn has passed elsewhere, and it's about over here too, but if you want to see brilliant yellow rose leaves, now is the time in Northern California.
