ROSE GARDEN
When you embark on a path of rose love, the details can be daunting, and you might wonder how you'll ever retain the vast world of information available. A recent visit to the Empire Mine's historic rose garden brought this rose blogger many aha moments–– confirmed knowledge, heightened awareness, clear understanding of previously shaky info, unforgettable introductions and much more.
It takes time (years) to take it all in. However volunteers, across America, who care for gardens like this, are the fortunate recipients of a shorter learning curve, because they work with the roses on a regular basis and through the seasons. Hint.
This is my last Grass Valley post. Phew–– I've never embarked on such a foto-fruitful two days. Thanks again to Jan Hedman for planning such a rich adventure.
